Surrealist art
Three
surrealistic and mystical works of art by Yves Lanthier are now
on display at the Hall of Frames and Art Gallery at 96 Royal
Palm Plaza, Boca Raton.
Lanthier
was born in St. Jerome, Quebec in 1955, but left Canada at age
16 and spent the next 15 years living in and absorbing the
culture of India.
"I
met some of the sacred mystics of India and Nepal, and they
accepted me immediately," says Lanthier in his
French-accented English.
"I
feel it was from my time in India that I gained many of the
ideas I have now. I believe 1 have something to say. It is up to
the viewer to decide what it means."
